The best first step is to schedule a free 20–30 minute consultation. This gives us a chance to talk about your goals, understand where you are right now, and identify which services are the right fit for you. There is no cost and no obligation — just a focused conversation to help you move forward.

Who is the ideal client for Reinvented Destiny?
If you are ready to make a change — in your career, your income, or your business — you are who we built this for. We work especially well with individuals who have faced barriers others have overlooked: returning citizens, individuals with disabilities or mental health challenges, people with inconsistent work histories, working moms, and aspiring entrepreneurs who have been told their dream isn't realistic. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to do the work.
Do you work with people who aren't sure what they want yet?
Absolutely — and honestly, that describes most people who reach out. Not knowing what you want is not a problem; it's often the starting point. Figuring that out together is exactly what our Career Exploration & Goal Planning session is designed for. You don't need to arrive with answers. You just need to be ready to explore.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
Reinvented Destiny offers both virtual and in-person sessions. Virtual sessions are available to clients throughout Maryland and beyond. In-person availability is based on location and scheduling. During your consultation, we will determine the best format for your needs.
Services & pricing
What services do you offer?
Reinvented Destiny offers two tracks of service. The Career & Workforce Development track includes career exploration, resume review and writing, interview preparation, and job readiness coaching. The Business & Entrepreneurship track includes business idea exploration, startup coaching, business plan development, and entrepreneur mentorship. We also offer group workshops and structured 4–6 week training programs for organizations. You can view the full service menu and pricing at our services page.
How much do your services cost?
Your first consultation is always free. Individual career services range from $40 to $95, and individual business coaching sessions start at $60. Career packages start at $125 and business packages start at $250. Group workshops are $15–$25 per person. Full pricing details — including session lengths — are available on our services page.
If cost is a concern, please mention it during your consultation. Limited sliding-scale options are available for career services.
What is a sliding-scale fee and do I qualify?
A sliding-scale fee means the cost of a service is adjusted based on your current financial situation. Reinvented Destiny offers limited sliding-scale pricing for career services — not business consulting — for individuals who are currently unemployed, receiving benefits, or experiencing financial hardship. Sliding-scale spots are limited each month and offered on a first-come basis. Simply mention your situation during your free consultation and we will find a path forward together.
What is the difference between career coaching and business consulting?
Career coaching focuses on helping you navigate employment — finding a job, improving your resume, preparing for interviews, and building the skills to succeed in a workplace. Business consulting focuses on helping you start or grow a business — evaluating your idea, building a plan, and developing the structure and strategy to move forward. Some clients need one, some need both. We will help you identify the right path during your consultation.
Business consulting is a premium service. Sliding-scale pricing does not apply to business coaching sessions or packages.
Do you offer services for organizations or workforce programs?
Yes. Reinvented Destiny partners with nonprofits, reentry programs, housing agencies, workforce development organizations, and community programs to deliver structured group training for their participants. We offer a Workforce Readiness Program and an Entrepreneurship Training Program, both structured over 4–6 weeks. Organizational programs are priced at $2,000–$4,500 per cohort. Payments & scheduling
How and when do I pay for services?
Payment is due prior to each session. We accept payment via CashApp, Zelle, Stripe, or Square. A payment link will be sent to you after your service is confirmed. Sessions will be scheduled once payment is received. If you have questions about payment, please reach out at [email protected].
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We understand that life happens. We ask that cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session fee. Clients who repeatedly no-show without notice may lose access to sliding-scale pricing. We appreciate your respect for our time, as we hold appointments exclusively for you.
How long does it take to see results?
That depends on your goals, your starting point, and — most importantly — your commitment to the process. Most clients begin to feel clarity and direction after their very first session. Landing a job or launching a business typically requires ongoing effort over several weeks or months. Reinvented Destiny provides the tools, structure, and accountability — but your results are a reflection of the work you put in between sessions as well.
I tried starting a business before and it didn't work. Should I try again?
Absolutely. Most successful business owners have experienced a setback or failed attempt — what matters is what you learned from it and whether you have the right support this time. At Reinvented Destiny, we start by understanding what happened before, identifying what was missing, and building a more realistic and structured path forward. A previous attempt is not a reason to stop. It's information.
About our approach
What is the difference between coaching and counseling or therapy?
Coaching and counseling serve different purposes. Counseling and therapy focus on mental health, emotional healing, and processing past experiences — and are provided by licensed mental health professionals. Coaching focuses on goal setting, action planning, skill building, and forward momentum. While Sherry holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and has spent many years in mental and behavioral health administration, Reinvented Destiny does not provide mental health services. If you need mental health support, we are happy to provide referrals to appropriate resources.
Why choose Reinvented Destiny over a career center or free program?
Free career centers serve a purpose — and we respect them. But there is a meaningful difference in the experience. At Reinvented Destiny, you are the only priority in the room. There are no quotas to meet, no grant requirements to fulfill, no caseloads to manage. Our support is individualized, relationship-based, and built around your specific goals — not a standardized checklist. Additionally, we offer entrepreneurship coaching alongside career support, which most free programs do not. You deserve to be seen and heard as the full person you are.
Is Reinvented Destiny a nonprofit?
No. Reinvented Destiny, LLC is a for-profit, minority-owned small business. We operate with a strong social mission — serving underrepresented and barrier-affected communities — but we are a private practice. This allows us to work directly for our clients without the restrictions or limitations that come with grant-funded programs. Our business model is designed to be both mission-driven and financially sustainable.
